available at the Institute of Cardiovascular Regeneration at the Goethe-University of Frankfurt (Germany).

Activities and responsibilities

 

Your role:

 

  • Maintenance of cell culture lines and stocks in the lab
  • Administrative tasks (including planning and purchasing, protocol organization, handling the shipment of sensitive samples, management of the laboratory, instruction of new employees)
  • Experimental support of the laboratory, including cell culture, cloning, PCR, Western blot, RNA FISH and similar techniques (training in techniques is available upon entry to the lab)

 

You have:

 

  • A completed training as a biological/chemical technical assistant
  • A master in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience in ordering and stock management
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in standard molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture and data analysis
  • Organizational skills, flexibility, team-orientated work

The contract is initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension.
