Last week, the team of the Institute for Cardiovascular Regeneration came together at Lake Constance for our annual summer retreat. Away from the day-to-day pace of the lab, we had the opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and think strategically about where we are and where we want to go.
Alongside inspiring scientific sessions and lively discussions, we dedicated time to a collaborative SWOT analysis, identifying our strengths, opportunities, challenges, and future priorities as an institute.
Of course, a successful retreat is about more than pure science. Whether swimming in the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery around Lake Constance, sharing excellent meals, participating in an excellent wine tasting, or simply spending time together, the retreat provided many opportunities for informal exchange and strengthening connections across the team.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the organization and success of this year’s retreat. We are looking forward to building on the ideas and discussions from these days in the months ahead.
